Paul Cunningham, Senior Pastor
Paul Cunningham is the senior pastor at WCC and founded the church in 1994. As senior pastor, Paul oversees the church’s overall mission and is the primary pastor on Sunday mornings.
Paul received his masters of divinity in theology from Oral Roberts University and served as a pastor in the Methodist church for 10 years. It was at that time that Paul wanted to start a church for people who were turned off or indifferent to the church. He joined up with the Evangelical Covenant Church and with 8 people in a living room WCC was born. Paul also enjoys coaching other young pastors around the country.
In his free time he likes to golf and work out. Paul has been married to Robin Cunningham since 2008 and they have 4 children: Rachel, Whitney, Jacob and Alison.
Andy Tilly, Associate Pastor
Andy currently serves as the Associate Pastor of WCC. With over 20 years of experience in various areas of ministry, Andy's experience with leadership, team structure and cutting edge resource development enable him to offer fresh insight and new perspective to existing ministry structures as well as help develop and train those new in ministry.
In addition to full time church staff positions, he has also worked as a consultant across the nation. A few of the churches he has worked with include Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, East Lake Church in Chula Vista, California and First Baptist of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, South Carolina. Leadership Network based in Dallas, Texas has used him multiple times as a consultant for Family and Student Ministries.
Andy has served as the featured communicator with nation-wide organizations such as Oklahoma Baptist General Convention (Falls Creek), Evangelical Covenant Speaking Team, YMCA, Youth Specialties, CHIC Conference, Youth Leader Experience Conference, Teen Serve, Orange and Willow Creek Shift Conferences and Camp Copass. He is also the author of multiple published works such as: The Student Experience, Practical Jesus, Poser, Thrive Don’t Just Survive, Multi-site Student Ministry and Modern Activist.
Sean Gutteridge, Lead Worship Pastor
Sean Gutteridge is the Lead Worship Pastor and head of our Production Teams, overseeing all of our worship services and media. He has been with WCC since July of 1995.
Sean oversees a capable team of production, video, and all things media and technical but serves primarily as our worship pastor. He is actively involved in our Youth worship team, as well, helping to raise up the next generation of worship pastors and musicians.
After attending Kansas University for three years on a vocal and theatre scholarship, Sean spent a year overseas studying acting at the British/American Drama Academy in London before returning home to Oklahoma City where he graduated from OCU. He holds a BS in Speech, Theatre and Film. Before coming to work for Westmoore Community Church, he first began his music ministry at First United Methodist Church.
Sean loves to Sky-Dive, is a songwriter, enjoys reading and hates the outdoors (unless he’s jumping from an airplane) and his musical influences are Boston, Skillet, Foo Fighters, Miles Davis, Jr. and Rich Mullins. His favorite historical theologians are Dietrich Bonhoeffer and C.S. Lewis and Sean is passionate about mission work in Uganda. He is married to published author and screen writer Rene Gutteridge. They have two children, both at a Westmoore High School, John and Cate Gutteridge.
Rodney Beavers, Pastoral Care Pastor
Rodney Beavers currently serves as the Pastoral Care Pastor. He oversees the Stephen Ministry, small groups, Westmoore on Wednesdays, baptisms and dedications and other various ministries.
Rodney has attended Westmoore church for 24 years and has been on staff for 19 years. Rodney oversees the greeters, Stephen Ministers, prayer team and our Flock care team.
Rodney attended Southeastern University and Rose State College. Before he came to work at WCC, he was a loan officer and financial counselor at Tinker Federal Credit Union for 12 years.
Rodney loves to golf, fish and hunt. He has been married for 25 years to his wife, Cindi, and has two kids in college, Morgan and Preston.
Sara Martin, Director of Children's Ministry
Sara joined the staff at Westmoore in August of 2017 as the Director of Children’s Ministry. Sara’s responsibilities include overseeing the Children’s Ministry infants through sixth grade. Sara is responsible for preparing curriculum for Children’s Church and organizing programs which include Wednesday night MiniMix for ages Pre-K through Sixth grade, Summer Kid’s Camp, VBS, Fall Carnival, and the Children’s Christmas program.
Sara and her family have attended Westmoore Community Church since 2003. She previously worked for Moore Public Schools in Special Education. She has served in children’s ministry in multiple roles for the past 15 years.
Sara loves to cook, sew, paint and travel. Sara is married to Christopher Martin and they have four children: Jaden, Johnathan, Jacob and Jillian who also serve in the children’s ministry.
Chad Heltcel, Student Pastor
After over a decade in commercial construction management, Chad decided to follow his calling and join our staff as the Student Pastor in September of 2016. He loves to meet and spend time with parents and students and be a positive example for the next generation of church leaders.
Chad started attending WCC in 1999 while he was still in high school. Over the years, he has served in the toddler class, Club 56, Kids Blast, as a small group leader, and taught adult classes during our Wednesday services.
Chad married his high school sweetheart, Cassidi, in 2005 and they have four children together: Riley, Joe, Kynzli, and Courtlyn. When he is not spending time with his family, he loves spending time outdoors, fishing, woodworking, and watching the Cubs, Sooners, and Thunder.
Craig Chappell, Young Adults Pastor
Craig was called to serve as the Young Adults Pastor at WCC in August of 2017. He currently serves in a part-time role, overseeing our young adult small groups, as well as helping with pastoral care and preaching when needed.
Craig has his undergraduate degree in Christian Ministry from Mid-America Christian University. He has over a decade of vocational ministry experience, having served churches in McAlester, OK (Youth Ministry), Clayton, IN (Family Ministry), Oklahoma City, OK (Worship Ministry), and now, South Oklahoma City, OK (Young Adult Ministry).
His hobbies include music, movies, and spending time with his family. Craig is married to Faith Chappell and they have four sons.
Tanya Secrist, Executive Assistant
Tanya Secrist is the Executive Assistant to Senior Pastor Paul Cunningham. She is responsible for overseeing and assisting the staff in their respective ministry areas. Tanya is our prison ministry leader and has served in Oklahoma prisons for over ten years.
Tanya has attended WCC for 21 years and been on staff for 15 years. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Tanya has been married to Jimmy, a retired Moore Firefighter, for 26 years and they have two sons, Dalton and Jesse.
Traci Weaver, Accountant
Traci Weaver is the accountant for the church and has worked at WCC for 15 years. Traci and her family have been attending WCC for 14 years.
She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with an accounting degree.
Traci has been married to Larry Weaver for 25 years. They have three children Bryanna 22, Brayden 17, and Brooke who is 9. Traci enjoys reading and watching her children participate in all their activities.
Ethleen Herndon, Receptionist
Etheleen Herndon is the Receptionist at WCC. She has been attending WCC since January of 2003 and has worked for WCC 11 years. She loves OU Football and Thunder Basketball. She has three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Dave Lewis, Facilities Manager
Dave Lewis has attended WCC for 15 years and has been the Facilities Manager for 14 of those years. He manages the building, the grounds and is responsible for maintenance at the church. He is also a college student at UCO. Dave is married and has three children and one grandchild. Dave enjoys board games and hanging out with his family.
Barbara Cass, Housekeeper
Barbara Cass has been a member of Westmoore since 2004. She has been on staff for nine years as housekeeper. Barbara has been married for twenty years to Brian, an Oklahoma City Firefighter. She has four children and six grandchildren that keep her busy.
