WCC STUDENTS

A teenager's life can be CRAZY! It's so important for a teen to have a community of peers and leaders to help them navigate themselves through Middle School and High School.

WCC Student Ministries desires to reach out to students who are far from God and help them to reach their God-given potential.  We do this by offering several opportunities to get involved and get connected.

The Mix

The Mix is the place where students are most likely to bring a friend if they are wanting to check out our church. In fact, it is a great place for anyone to meet some of the students and leaders involved in WCC Student Ministry. We have many students attend each week and we often provide opportunities to learn about the other areas of our ministry at The Mix.

The Mix meets each Wednesday night during the school year from 6:30 – 8:30. The Mix is for anyone currently in grades 7th through seniors in High School. At The Mix students can look forward to engaging and interactive worship, fun and games with a lot of their friends, and relevant and applicable teaching from God’s word.

C.O.R.E. Groups

C.O.R.E. Groups provide a small-group experience for our students. Students are generally grouped by grade and gender.  It is a GREAT way to get to know the people you are doing life with!

C.O.R.E. Groups meet every Sunday night during the school year from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.  and Wednesday nights during the summer from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.

Volunteer for Student Ministry

We are always looking for more adults to get involved with WCC Student Ministries for two reasons:

  1. We're always growing as a ministry and need more caring adults to show the love of Jesus to teenagers.
  2. We believe that God is just as interested in what he's doing in YOUR life as He is in what He's doing in these teens' lives.

God chooses to use us to fulfill His purposes in His Church, but at the same time he molds us and shapes us into the people he wants us to become while we're leading.  So, if you love Jesus and love teenagers (or even just like teenagers...), and if you feel like God may be asking you to serve in one of the most challenging/rewarding ministries in the Church, contact us to hear more about the opportunities to serve.
