Our Mission:
Our History
Pastor Paul Cunningham founded Westmoore Community Church in 1994 with a vision to create “a new church for a new generation.” Starting in a small shopping center at 89th and S. Walker, his goal was to offer a place where people could worship God authentically, with a style that reflected the spirit of the times. Known for its full-band rock worship, Westmoore quickly earned the nickname “the Flock that ROCKS!” The church gained early attention after a noise complaint from a nearby neighborhood made the evening news, and ironically, this publicity led to rapid growth. Over the years, Pastor Cunningham’s unwavering dedication and leadership helped shape Westmoore into the vibrant community it is today. After outgrowing the shopping center, the church built next to Westmoore High School . The church sold that facility to Westmoore High School and moved to their current location at 11513 S. Western in 2020, across from Brink Junior High School. Pastor Cunningham retired in 2024, leaving behind a lasting legacy of faith and community impact. In that same year, Pastor Glenn Quirk stepped into the role of Senior Pastor, taking the reins of leadership at Westmoore Community Church. With a deep sense of calling and a heart for the church’s mission, Glenn continues to build upon the strong foundation Pastor Paul Cunningham had laid over the previous decades.
