In 1994, Pastor Paul Cunningham started Westmoore Church in a small shopping center on 89th and S. Walker. Paul’s goal was to create “a new church for a new generation” – a place where people could come as they are and worship God in a new way. Our full-band rock worship style gave us the reputation as the “the Flock that ROCKS!” Not too long after the church started, we received a noise complaint from the neighborhood behind the shopping center. This complaint was featured on the evening news and our attendance sky rocketed. We eventually grew out of the shopping center and moved next to Westmoore High School. We built our current location at 11513 S. Western, across the street from Brink Junior High School, in 2020.
